Scotland trips at a glance

Beginner’s tour through the Highlands
Get to know the Highlands. This ten-night tour leads through the heart of the Scottish Highlands, past the finest sights from Loch Ness to the wild west coast and on to Speyside with its whiskies.

Highlands total – the grand tour
A three-week round trip from Edinburgh via Loch Lomond to Islay, Skye, Scotland’s west coast, Speyside and back to Edinburgh. On the programme: castles, distilleries, incomparable scenery and much more.

Through the Highlands to the Isle of Skye
It is one of Scotland’s most beautiful islands, its landscapes unique and exciting. The trip leads through the heart of the Highlands, to the Isle of Skye. On the programme: castles, distilleries and wild nature.

The Coast of the Highlands
Follow the beautiful and wild coast of the Highlands. Visit the famous Isle of Skye before heading into the wild north of the Highlands on the North Coast 500. On the way to Edinburgh, sample the whisky of Speyside.

North Coast 500 and Orkney
It’s called the “Scottish Route 66”, in a nod to the famous American road. The North Coast 500 runs through the north of the country and showcases the beauty of the Highlands. It also includes a visit to Orkney, with its ancient stone circles.

Island-hopping across the Hebrides
The Hebrides, the islands off Scotland’s west coast, are famous for many things: Islay for its whisky, Skye for its scenery, Uist for its beaches, Harris for its tweed and Lewis for its famous Calanish stone circle. This trip takes in all of these islands.

Orkney Islands Experience
Following the traces of ancient cultures and recent history. Orkney combines mysterious sites with exciting nature such as steep cliffs, secluded bays and beautiful islands that can only be reached on foot at low tide. Naturally, there’s also a distillery and interesting crafts here.

THE EAST HIGHLANDS
The east of the Scottish Highlands is often called unspectacular and therefore often left out of a longer stay. That’s a real shame, because the East Highlands are anything but boring — which is exactly why we put together this route suggestion.
